School Hangi

Last Friday our school had a hangi. We had an awesome day. Our families and friends joined us. It was a great experience. We all helped prepare the vegetables and everyone got to watch the hangi being lifted and then taste the kai.

Main Block Slideshow

This slideshow has photos of the main block that many people are familiar with. Sadly the current main block was demolished over the school holidays to make way for new buildings. Many students will have fond memories of the old building, but current students can look forward to a new modern building.

The Woolston School Pool

This slide show is about how the school pool has been pulled down this year.
Sadly the pool is not being rebuilt, but we will enjoy the new field anyway.

Woolston Dental Clinic and Library

Some time in Term 2 the Dental Clinic will be demolished and a huge new hub will be built to service many other schools in the area. Back in 1971 the library was just getting built. Later in the year the library will be demolished and a new one will be built.

Woolston Playground Slideshow

This slideshow shows you some photos of kids playing in and around the playground a couple of years ago. Now the playground has been fenced off because of demolition of the old school building! The memories of the playground are still with most senior students, and it has been a great loss, but there are plans to make a new playground and many are anxiously awaiting its arrival.
