England Rugby Team Visits Woolston School

Several members of the England Rugby team, including coach Martin Johnson and captain Lewis Moody, visited Woolston School yesterday afternoon.

Firstly we welcomed them with a pōwhiri.

Lewis Moody speaks on behalf of his team.

After the pōwhiri the team members talked with the pupils, then did some rugby drills with the whole school.

Martin Johnson shakes hands with eager students.

Following the rugby drills, some of the tamariki asked questions of the team members and we all sung the English National Anthem.

Before they left some of their fans got autographs and had their photos taken.
