Nga Taitamariki o Roimata Perform

Our school kapahaka and Pasifika culture groups were invited to perform in Victoria Square on Wednesday, September 1st as part of the Gamble Free Awareness promotion.
It was a lovely fine day and we performed outside to a supportive audience. It was a good chance for us to practice in front of an audience before our performance at the Town Hall on Thursday night as part of the Christchurch Primary Schools Cultural Festival.
The sponsors of the event were very generous and gave all the performers a goody bag to take back to school. We also got a sausage and had our photo taken with the Gamble Free super hero.
Some students from Woolston School also won prizes in the Gamble Free colouring competition.
We were proud to help support and promote this event with its important messages about gambling and where to go for support.
